Message of the Treasurer

Warm Welcome to Bangladesh Lions Foundation.

I, as the treasurer of BLF, feel proud to contribute my efforts to this prestigious organisation. From the establishment of BLF in 1975, it has settled several numbers of services to serve humanity. Now we have established Lions Eye Institute & Hospital, Lions General Hospital & Diagnostic Center, comprising Dental Unit, ENT Unit, Physiotherapy Unit, Orthopaedic, Obstetrics and gynaecology, Heart and General Medicine, ICU, NICU and all other facilities of patient care.

Everyday about 40-50 cataract surgeries are done in this hospital, out of which about 50% of surgeries are done totally free of cost. This hospital arranges cataract screening camps all through the year. So, the availability of cataract surgery cases is the greatest advantage of having hands on training in this institute.
